Pre and post-hire screening in Honolulu.

You are hiring for physical work. A screening shows you what someone can safely do before day one, and puts a baseline on record for whatever comes later.

What It Is

Know before day one.

A resume tells you where someone has worked. It does not tell you whether they can lift, carry, kneel or hold a position for a full shift without paying for it later.

Pre and post-hire screening measures that part. We start with the physical demands of the actual job, then screen the person against those demands, one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every visit. After the hire, the same screening becomes a baseline on record.

You get an objective result in plain language. The person being screened gets something too: a clear read on their own body before the job starts asking things of it. What you will not get from us is a gut call dressed up as a test.

Questions, Answered

Screening, no mystery.

It tells you how a person moves against the physical demands of the job in front of them: lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, holding a position. It is a physical screening, not a diagnosis, and it does not replace the rest of your hiring process. It gives you something measured to set next to everything else you already know.

A licensed physical therapist, one-on-one, every visit. Action Rehab is seven clinicians and staff in Honolulu with more than twenty years of experience behind the practice, and the people who treat work injuries here are the same people who run the screenings.

Call us at (808) 597-1555. We will ask what the job physically requires, then build the screening around that rather than around a generic form. We are open Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm.
