Accessibility at Action Rehab Physical Therapy

Action Rehab Physical Therapy is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, voice control or keyboard-only navigation.

Conformance target

We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and more usable for everyone.

Measures we have taken

• A full accessibility review of every page template against WCAG 2.1 AA, covering page structure, headings, forms, color contrast, keyboard access, and motion.
• A skip-to-content link, visible landmarks, and a logical heading structure on every page.
• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and empty alternative text on purely decorative images.
• Labeled form fields, inline error messages, and full keyboard operability on the booking form, the pain check, and every accordion and menu on the site.
• Visible focus indicators on every interactive element, and no keyboard traps.
• Content that stays visible and usable if a visitor's browser has JavaScript turned off, and animations that respect a visitor's operating system setting for reduced motion.
• Color combinations checked against WCAG's minimum contrast ratios, with adjustments made where a combination fell short.

This is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time fix. We periodically review the site again as we add pages or make design changes, and we treat accessibility bugs with the same priority as any other bug.

Known limitations

We are aware of a few gaps we have not fully closed yet:

• The live Google reviews widget on the home page is provided by a third party (Elfsight). It depends on JavaScript from that outside service, so if it fails to load, the review content in that panel will not appear; the "Read every review on Google" link next to it always works as a fallback, and every review featured elsewhere on the site is written directly into the page.
• Our downloadable referral and prescription form is a PDF and is not yet tagged for screen readers. If you need that document's contents read aloud or in another format, call or email us and we will get you the information directly.
• Embedded Google Maps on our location section are provided by Google and we cannot alter their internal accessibility.
