About Dr. Simone Iriarte

Dr. Simone Iriarte is a licensed physical therapist and the pelvic floor PT at Action Rehab Physical Therapy in Kakaʻako.

She has worked with pelvic floor dysfunction for several years, including leaks, pelvic pain, and recovery during and after pregnancy, and she continues to take courses in pelvic floor care. If that is what brought you here, ask for Simone when you schedule.

Rather than pad this page, here is the thing that actually decides how your recovery goes: what happens in the room.

What care with Simone looks like

First, a cause-first evaluation. Plenty of people arrive already knowing where it hurts. Far fewer have ever been told why, in language they can repeat later that evening.

You leave that first visit with an answer, a rough timeline, and a next step.

From there it is one-on-one with a licensed physical therapist, every visit. Your hour is your hour.

The plan runs through four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, Prevent, and it is built to end. Calm the pain, restore the motion, build strength that holds under load, then keep the problem from coming back. You are told what earns each step, so you never have to wonder whether it is working.

If your weekends involve paddling, hiking, or the water, being pain free on the couch is not the finish line. Getting back out there without bracing for it is.

That does not get easier by waiting. Nobody regrets starting too early. Ask for Simone when you schedule your appointment.
